Midtown

Reno’s hipster neighborhood, Midtown features up-and-coming bars and restaurants amidst its rental-dominant apartments and homes. Older homes can be found in every style, though many are craftsman, interspersed with contemporary homes and lofts as the neighborhood continues to gentrify.

Along Midtown’s stretch of Virginia Street you’ll find quirky shops, tattoo parlors and a few remnant motels mixed in with the coffee shops, restaurants and bars. This neighborhood is easily walkable and bikeable with lots of foot traffic and nightlife. Parks are limited, but the downtown Truckee Riverwalk sits on the northern edge of the neighborhood with easy access to Idlewild Park.
